Scouting reportwritten with AI from our own data

Retired featherweight fighter with a relentless wrestler profile, whose main shortcoming was an inability to defend against opponent takedowns and submissions.

How he fights

Abel Cullum built his game around the takedown: he brought fights to the ground with high frequency and solid accuracy, constantly hunting for the submission once there. He struck sparingly, preferring to impose his control from wrestling rather than engage in striking exchanges.

Weaknesses

His major weakness was on the defensive end: his takedown defense was very poor and his striking defense left much to be desired, something notable for his division. During his time in UFC, he closed out with two consecutive submission losses, exposing that overall fragility.

Where he stands

He has not competed since 2011, so he is considered retired. His final stint in UFC ended with a two-fight losing streak against mid-level opponents, closing out his time with the organization without competing again since then.

Apuestas & Cuotas
