Scouting reportwritten with AI from our own data

Retired light heavyweight fighter who lived by the knockout, winning and losing fights the same way.

How he fights

James Irvin was a natural finisher: in the UFC, he won all his fights by knockout and finished the majority of his bouts. His style was all-or-nothing, hunting for the decisive blow rather than building a long fight.

Weaknesses

His striking defense was poor for the division, something reflected in his record: when he lost, most of those defeats also came by knockout. A profile vulnerable against opponents with power.

Where he stands

He has not fought since 2010 and closed his UFC stint with a streak of three consecutive losses, against Igor Pokrajac, Alessio Sakara, and Anderson Silva. Everything indicates he is retired from competitive fighting.

Apuestas & Cuotas
