Scouting reportwritten with AI from our own data

Retired heavyweight fighter who pursued submissions consistently, though his striking defense ultimately proved to be his greatest weakness.

How he fights

Shamrock built his UFC career around a relentless pursuit of submissions, with notable precision in executing takedowns. Five of his eight victories in the organization came by that route, showcasing high finishing power that resolved most of his fights.

Weaknesses

His striking defense was poor, and that was reflected in how he lost: six of his nine UFC defeats came by knockout. Additionally, his reach fell far short compared to the division, a relevant physical disadvantage against heavyweights.

Where he stands

He has not fought since 2006, after closing his UFC tenure with a streak of four consecutive losses to mid-level opposition, including two fights against Tito Ortiz. All signs point to his career being retired.

Apuestas & Cuotas
