Scouting reportwritten with AI from our own data

Retired fighter with a dominant ground profile, consistently landing takedowns with high finishing power, but with weak striking defense.

How he fights

Mark Coleman built his fights around the takedown, constantly seeking to bring the fight to the ground and applying pressure from there with submissions. His striking showed good precision, and his finishing ability was high: he ended the majority of his fights before the decision.

Weaknesses

His striking defense was weak, a vulnerability against high-level opposition. When he lost in UFC, the majority of his defeats came by submission, a pattern that repeated itself in several of his final fights against top-tier competition.

Where he stands

Coleman has not fought since 2010, so he is likely retired. His last UFC appearance ended in a submission loss to Randy Couture, closing out a 26-fight career inside the organization where he consistently faced high-level opponents.

Apuestas & Cuotas
