Scouting reportwritten with AI from our own data

Retired welterweight fighter with a relentless pursuit of submissions who finished fights but struggled significantly in defense.

How he fights

Kimmons built his game around takedowns and a constant hunt for submissions, with good precision in bringing the fight to the ground. His finishing power was high: the majority of his fights ended before the judges' scorecards, whether by his own hand or his opponent's.

Weaknesses

His defense was the glaring weak point: he ate a lot of strikes and his striking defense and takedown defense ranked among the worst in the division. That left him exposed both standing and when trying to shut down his opponent's wrestling.

Where he stands

He has not fought since 2011, so he is considered retired. He closed out his UFC tenure on a two-fight losing streak, against Kyle Noke and Dongi Yang, after facing mid-level competition in his final appearances.

Apuestas & Cuotas
