Scouting reportwritten with AI from our own data

Retired light heavyweight fighter, tall with long arms, who built his game around takedowns and the constant pursuit of submissions.

How he fights

Maximus was a distinctly wrestling-oriented fighter: he sought takedowns with very high frequency and excellent precision, and once on the ground he constantly pursued submissions. His height and long arms, among the most notable in the division, reinforced that style of control and pressure.

Strengths

His ability to take the fight to the ground was outstanding, with excellent takedown accuracy and solid takedown defense that allowed him to dictate where the fight took place. Additionally, he absorbed very few strikes, which spoke to disciplined fighting with minimal wear in the striking department.

Where he stands

He has not competed since 2006, so he is likely considered retired. His time in UFC ended with a streak of one loss against mid-level opponents, in a brief tenure of only three fights inside the organization.

Apuestas & Cuotas
