Scouting reportwritten with AI from our own data

Retired light heavyweight striker who stood in the pocket and fought with exceptionally high striking volume, though he absorbed significant damage in return.

How he fights

Sean O'Connell displayed a pure striker profile: he pursued striking volume above all else, with short range for the division, which forced him to close into dangerous distances. He contributed little on the ground, with few takedown attempts and poor accuracy when he tried them.

Weaknesses

His Achilles heel was durability: he absorbed heavy punishment in every fight, and when he lost in the UFC, most of those defeats came by knockout. He closed his time with the organization on a three-fight losing streak.

Where he stands

He has not fought since 2016, so he is considered likely retired. His final stint in UFC, which saw seven fights against mid-level opposition, ended with losses to Corey Anderson, Steve Bosse, and Ilir Latifi.

Apuestas & Cuotas
